Well rested and ready for day 2? You are greeted with amazing Tanzanian coffee and a vast variety of tropical fruits for breakfast. Thereafter, your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park is well known for its Baobab trees “trees of life”, large herds of elephants, and impressive scenery of Tarangire River which attracts thousands of wildlife during the dry season as it is the main source of water.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River which meanders across the park. During the dry season (June to October) the river attracts many wildlife animals that come daily to drink water. During the game drive, you get to see many animals including zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, impalas, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and more.
In the evening your guide will drive you to a Lodge for dinner and overnight.
This awesome day begins with a short journey that will lead you to Mto wa Mbu Village a nearby village to Lake Manyara National Park. This village is full of activities to explore such as biking tours, walking tours, and a visit to banana plantations. On the way you will see Maasai bomas where you might stop for some time to experience some Maasai cultural practices and local dances. You can then proceed with your journey to the most scenic Park “Lake Manyara National Park”.
Famous for its tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara National Park offers scenic woodland, grassland, and the most astonishing Lake which attracts hundreds of flamingoes and more than 300 bird species such as Pelicans, Sacred ibis, Grebes, and storks. You may also spot a good number of Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Impalas, Hippos, and many animal species.
In the evening your guide will drive you to the Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Early in the morning after a sumptuous breakfast, it is the perfect time to depart for central Serengeti with your picnic lunch boxes. When it comes to tourist attractions, Serengeti has a lot to offer. To mention just a few such as millions of animals in the annual movement of wildebeest, predators, and over 490 bird species. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometers big deals are always guaranteed during the game drive, as you have a wide chance to explore many attractions over the Serengeti Plains.
The park also offers the most scenic picnic areas to enjoy your Lunch and nice views of endless plains.

Today will be an awesome day! ready after your early breakfast you will have the chance to explore Central Serengeti to its fullest . The central part of Serengeti also known as Seronera is full of water sources and plain grass with enough nutrients, hence the majority of grazers like to stay around this area searching for pastures. The concentration of animals in this area attracts many predators roaming around to capture the prey, and if you are lucky, you will get to see the big games.
During the dry season (from June to October), many animals congregate in the Seronera area due to the lack of water in other parts of Serengeti Plains. Hence during these months, you may explore many resident herbivores such as Impalas, Buffalos, Hippos, Warthogs, Topis, Hartebeests and Giraffes as well as resident carnivores such as lions and leopards.
In the evening, your guide will drive you back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, a journey to Ngorongoro Crater commences, you might stop at Olduvai Gorge before descending to the Crater. There you will get a full history of how the anthropologists Dr. Leakey and Mary Leakey discovered the skull of the ‘Nutcracker Man’ which was classified as Zinjanthropus. Then later you will proceed with the journey and descend into the magnificent crater that host the big five animals including Tanzania’s rare remaining black rhinos, Leopards, Lions, Elephants, and Buffalos.
Supported by a year-round water supply and enough grazing Land, the crater host other variety of wildlife animals including herds of Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Warthog, Hyenas, Jackals, and Cheetahs. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor around the afternoon, then proceed with the game drive until evening.
After the game drives, your guide will take you to a Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
