The duration of many Tanzania safaris depends solely on the client’s choice. You may decide to go on a game drive to one of the closest destinations for about 4 to 7 days or opt for an extensive tour that will include several destinations, which could take more than 10 days. However, we can always custom the tour duration to suit your timeframe.
The following are a few of the most visited destinations in Tanzania.
We provide super brand 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles best suited for bush safaris. Inside vehicles, you can find compact refrigerators for cold drinks and first-aid kits to give you more comfort during the safari. Pop-up roofs are made available, hence during the game drives you can stand, observe, and make the most awesome photos.
The safari guide/Driver is the only person who will be with you in the vehicle during the safari. But if you opt for a joined safari you will be with other clients (tourists) that you have not met before the safari, which means the cost of the safari will be a bit cheaper as the safari cost will be shared with all Tourist in that particular vehicle.
Tanzania National Parks regulations strictly prohibit getting out of the vehicle during a game drive. This is just for the security of the visitor and for conservation purposes. You can only get out of your vehicle during picnic lunches at the specially designated areas inside the National Parks.
The earlier, the better! Tanzania Bush Safaris tend to commence at 6:00 am, we highly recommend our customers to depart from their Hotel/lodge as early as possible (that is; between 6:00 to 7:00 AM). This is because early departures give more success during the safari because many animals are active in the morning, hence you might spot many of them.
Also, you will get flexibility in the game drive as you will not experience crowds of other Tourists. From 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM is the operational time in Tanzania National Parks, hence leaving as early as possible gives you more success on your game drives.
Casual clothes are allowed during the safari, Loose-fitting and lightweight clothes are the best choices as they will keep you cool. Also, if you get caught in a rain shower, such clothes get to dry quicker. Carry a good jacket as well for cold mornings during game drive activities. At night you can wear long sleeves as there will be a campfire to keep you warm but you will need to protect yourself from mosquitoes.
Having children on safari is a wise decision, we can guarantee that is it very safe to travel with children as it gives them inspiration for their future references. Seeing wildlife in their natural environment is an experience that they will keep in their memories and grow with it the rest of their lives.

Lunch boxes are taken at designated picnic areas within the Park and hot lunch usually taken in the hotel. Dinner is taken at the lodge/Hotel. Water and soft drinks are always available in the compact fridge inside the car, as well as tea and coffee provided at your request.
Airstrips are available in several Tanzania National Parks, hence charter flights operational in between are possible. The use of local flights from one destination to another will add some cost to your safari package, though it will give you more time on game drives, and you will add new experiences during your Tanzania safari.
